Product Overview

The centralized cryogenic liquid tank gas supply system is an industrial gas supply solution built around cryogenic liquid storage tanks. It is designed for the centralized storage and stable supply of gases such as argon, nitrogen, and oxygen in liquid form.

The system converts stored cryogenic liquids into stable gaseous output through integrated pressure-building and vaporization equipment, delivering gas to end-use points. Compared with traditional cylinder-based gas supply, this system offers larger storage capacity, lower operating costs, easier operation, and improved safety. It significantly enhances gas supply efficiency while reducing management and handling costs, making it widely used in industrial production and research environments.

Working Principle

The system stores liquefied gases in cryogenic storage tanks and uses the tank’s internal pressure-building system together with vaporizers to convert the liquid into gas.

Inside the vaporizer, the liquid absorbs ambient heat and rapidly vaporizes into gas. The gas then passes through a pressure regulation system to provide a stable gas supply for industrial processes.

An automatic control system can continuously monitor parameters such as liquid level, pressure, and vaporization temperature. This enables stable gas supply, improves operational safety, and reduces manual intervention while increasing overall system efficiency.

  • Large Storage Capacity and Lower Cost:For example, a cryogenic argon tank with a net capacity of 20 m³ occupies about 6 m² of floor space and is approximately 8 m high. After vaporization, it can supply around 16,000 m³ of gas. Compared with traditional cylinders, which would require around 3,000 cylinders occupying approximately 222 m², the cryogenic tank offers much higher storage efficiency and reduces gas loss.
  • Convenient Operation and Higher Efficiency:The storage tank includes built-in pressurization and vaporization equipment and can operate without external power or additional devices. One operator can manage the system easily, enabling continuous gas supply. Compared with replacing gas cylinders every few minutes, this significantly improves efficiency and reduces labor intensity.
  • High Safety Performance:The maximum working pressure of the cryogenic tank is approximately 1.7 MPa and it is equipped with a triple safety pressure relief protection system. Even under abnormal conditions, gas can be safely released in gaseous form. Compared with traditional cylinders operating at around 13–13.5 MPa, cryogenic storage tanks offer improved safety and operational stability.
  • Intelligent Management:The system can be equipped with an intelligent monitoring and management platform for remote monitoring and control of parameters such as liquid level, pressure, vaporization temperature, pressure regulation range, gas composition, and flow rate. This reduces manual operation and minimizes human error.
