Product Overview

The Hydrogen Liquefaction Unit is a complete system designed to convert high-purity gaseous hydrogen into liquid hydrogen through advanced cryogenic processes. It is suitable for small to large-scale industrial hydrogen production, storage, and transport applications. The unit offers high liquefaction efficiency, high product purity, and continuous stable operation, making it a critical core equipment in the liquid hydrogen supply chain and capable of meeting diverse production and distribution requirements.

Working Principle

The system employs advanced cryogenic refrigeration and liquefaction cycles to achieve hydrogen liquefaction.

  • Small-to-medium systemsutilize helium reverse Brayton cycles with continuous ortho-to-para hydrogen conversion, enabling efficient liquefaction and heat recovery.
  • Large-scale systemsuse hydrogen-based refrigeration cycles with high-speed, heavy-duty turboexpanders for deep cooling. Integrated ortho-para conversion and heat exchanger networks, combined with large vacuum-insulated cold boxes, minimize thermal losses and maximize liquefaction efficiency.

During the liquefaction process, impurities are effectively removed, producing high-purity liquid hydrogen suitable for sensitive applications.
