The Helium Liquefier System is a cryogenic system designed to convert gaseous helium into liquid helium, providing a stable supply of liquid helium for scientific research, medical equipment, superconducting technology, cryogenic material testing, and industrial applications.

The system operates through the coordinated operation of multiple core components, including helium compressors, cold box, liquid helium Dewar, oil separator, control cabinet, coaxial transfer line, contaminated helium dryer, recovery compressor, liquid nitrogen storage tank, helium storage tank, helium cylinder manifold, and recovery gas bag.

Through this integrated configuration, the system enables helium compression, purification, cooling, liquefaction, and recovery, forming a complete helium processing cycle. With a comprehensive structure and stable performance, it can meet the requirements of various cryogenic engineering and scientific research applications.

Working Principle

The process begins with a helium compressor, which compresses the helium gas and delivers it to the cold box. Inside the cold box, the helium undergoes multi-stage heat exchange and throttling expansion, gradually lowering the temperature. When the helium reaches extremely low temperatures, it condenses and forms liquid helium.

The produced liquid helium is stored in a dedicated liquid helium Dewar for subsequent use. The system is also equipped with an oil separator and contaminated helium dryer to remove oil and impurities generated during compression, ensuring high gas purity.

During operation, boil-off gas and exhaust gas generated from liquid helium usage are collected through a recovery compressor and gas recovery bag, allowing the helium to be reintroduced into the system for re-liquefaction. This closed-loop process enables helium recycling and efficient resource utilization.
